E Activism in Nigeria is either a business venture to some and to some a Cheerful Place to show how Educated and sympathetic they are, but it's all a mislabeled and misplaced priority actually most of Nigerian activist are not wholeheartedly involved in the core execution of whatever they want to achieve or believe.
They do them on purpose for gain or otherwise but the personal interest matters
Rapes, killings, domestic violence, I'll governance and all sorts of I'll consistency in human development are twart to stupor but the least we can do thou some are likely to get Government attention and Justice is done some are ignored after few days of social Media hulabaloos.
The dogma behind activism is to get justice done and done for Good why then is the act on repeat mode and no single law can be enacted by this same activist to pursue It to implementation till it becomes a law that we no longer have to come on SM and re do what we did a month or some week back
We just have to understand Activism is commitment, being dogged, Sacrifice and lots more but If the IG wala saga scares you then ure not ready for activism,if sowores and deji's act are done with true spirit of activism then yes it is worth it and damn the consequences
But you don't get paid and think you will say your mind on the Streets
You do what you're told to do not what you want to do
I hope we stand for the masses not for some peeps or eeps it will do no one Any Good, but will curse damage undeserved damage as at that..
